Act Now! These tapes are deteriorating
We are beginning to see a growing number of video tapes which had deteriorated beyond the ability to transfer them. This problem is most acute in Video 8, Hi 8, and Digital 8 tapes and in older VHS tapes as well as in mini-DV tapes that had been recorded over several times.
Be aware that the availability of players able to playback these formats is disappearing and is already virtually gone in Europe.

Converting VHS to DVD and Other Services
Digital Pickle is a video transfer service and a VHS to DVD service that can convert VHS tapes to DVD. In terms of format, we can convert NTSC to DVD and PAL to DVD. If you want to put your home movies on DVD we can copy your VHS video to DVD. By converting your VHS tape to DVD, you can preserve your family memories.
Aside from converting VHS to DVD, Digital Pickle transfers 8mm to DVD and if you convert 8mm to DVD, you can enjoy the DVD transfer with your family and friends. If you are interested in a Video 8 to DVD transfer, we can copy any video to DVD.
If you already have digital files, we offer WMV conversion and a wide variety other digital file formats so you may share your video clips online.
Furthermore, if you want to convert reel to reel to DVD, we do reel to reel transfers of legacy professional formats. Please be aware that these tapes require special equipment and are more expensive to transfer.
