DVD Slideshows Services - Technical Details
You send us your photos, slides, negatives, and selection of music together with instructions on how to arrange everything.
We digitize your media and create a web version of the slide show so you can review it online. One draft for review is included in the basic price. Editing time will be charged for additional versions(unless due to our error).
After we have your approval we create a high quality DVD disc and ship it back to you along with your originals. We do not install any copyright protection, so you are free to make copies of your DVD.
Each slide show can have up to 1,000 images. By default, we leave a 5-second interval between images.
The slide show content may have the following elements:
- Digital images from our scanning of your photos and slides, or your digital images
- Video clips that we had created or you provide
- Music for original retail CDs, audio we transferred for you from records and cassettes, or music we download for you for a fee
Our Process and Equipment
We use professional image and visdeo editing software enabling us to arrange still images, video clips, and music
- We create a draft slideshow based on the sequence you had defined
- Create custom features like:
- Video clips trimmed, joined, and rearranged
- Still images incorporated as a slide show
- Navigation menu with custom chapter points
- Titles, motion effects, transitions, and annotations
- Background music and voice-overs
- You review the draft online and approve – one modification is included and additional changes not due to our error will be charged as editing time
- We burn the DVD slideshow disc and copies are required.
Output Formats
- DVD with the slide show
- We can upload the slideshow to an online gallery of choice at the proper format for an additional fee
