February 27, 2007

San Francisco - Digital Pickle, a provider of photo, video, audio, and film preservation services, announced today that it had joined The Association of Moving Image Archivists (AMIA) as part of Digital Pickle’s ongoing strategy to broaden its relationships with communities and organizations active in the domain of multi-media preservation.

"Belonging to the AMIA will enable the Digital Pickle team to keep up to date with the latest techniques in motion media preservation and thus will allow us to provide state-of-the-art services to our customers. It will also enable us to share our significant experience with other like-minded people and organization" Said Arik Paran, Digital Pickle's president.

AMIA is a dynamic professional association dedicated to advancing the preservation, collection, and use of moving images through public and professional education.

AMIA's members range from those who work solely with moving images to organizations where moving images are only a small part of their collection to individuals who want to protect their personal collection - home movies or small gauge or video - to film buffs concerned with losing our visual heritage.

Digital Pickle is a leading provider of film and video preservation services. Based in San Francisco, California, Digital Pickle processes orders nationwide.
